Why do I need aeration?

Over time, mowing, playing, and everyday foot traffic cause soil compaction. Compacted soil prevents deep root growth and blocks water, air, and fertilizer from reaching where they’re needed most. By pulling small, two- to three-inch plugs once in the spring and once in the fall, aeration relieves compaction and restores your lawn’s natural efficiency.
